Congratulations to Sachem football assistant coach Nick Codispoti and his wife for welcoming their new baby boy Nicholas Angelo Codispoti to the family this week.
For Codispoti, who played at Patchogue-Medford High School, this is his first son, adding to his two daughters on the family depth chart.
Codispoti, a physical education teacher at Sachem East, coaches the offensive line at Sachem, which has anchored the program to rush for more than 16,000 yards since he arrived in 2009.
During Sunday’s Sachem football awards dinner, lineman Steve Mills praised Codispoti for his guidance and ability to get the senior to where he is today in his athletic ability. His hard work and Codispoti’s tutelage led to Mills winning the Zellner as the top lineman in Suffolk County.
