Sachem East is back on top of Suffolk County field hockey after beating Ward Melville, 1-0, to capture its seventh Suffolk County championship in school history.
Addison Romanowski tipped in the game-winning goal on a penalty corner to capture the win.
Sachem, now 17-0, will play in the Long Island championship on Sunday. They will face the winner of the Massapequa-East Meadow game in Nassau.
