The Sachem PTA Council wants you to be part of the “We Are Sachem” Cookbook.
The project is open to everyone in the community and recipes can be entered here.
Each year, Sachem PTA Council presents approximately $25,000 in scholarships to High School Seniors at Sachem East and Sachem North. These funds are traditionally raised through the annual Sports Night events.
“This year, as a result of current restrictions set forth by New York State, we are unable to carry on our annual Sports Night tradition,” the council wrote on their website. “In lieu of Sports Night, we are collecting recipes for a cookbook that will continue our tradition of bringing Sachem families together…around the table.”
Jim Nolan Irish stew or Fred Fusaro chicken parmigiana have a nice ring. Just saying.
