College lacrosse has barely been played since spring 2019, but awards and honors keep the sport alive as student-athletes get ready for spring 2021 activities.
Sachem alum Cara Trombetta, entering her fifth year at Florida, was named a US Lacrosse Magazine All-American.
She was previously an IWLCA and ILWomen All-American and was named to the Tewaaraton Watch List during the shortened 2020 season. During the quick 2020 season she was AAC Defensive Player of the Week three times and Florida had six wins and were ranked No. 8 in the country.
