Erin Leonard, President of SADD Club and a student at Sachem High School East, wrote a grant this summer and was selected as the recipient of a $500 Summer of Creativity Grant that is administered by Youth Service America.
Leonard was selected through a competitive application process and given these funds to help make a lasting and positive change in her community.
She is planning a weeklong “Tackle the Winter Struggles” the first week of the new semester with the help of Sachem East SADD.
