Students from Sachem’s cosmetology program attended the Orlando Hair Show earlier this month.
They were offered and internship with Peter Coppola, working the show to prepare the models for the runway.
“We worked behind the scenes getting the models ready and also worked with the whole set up of the show,” said Michelle Savickas, who teaches the cosmetology program.
Students were on stage assisting the stylist and were also working in the classrooms applying the Keratin treatment they were promoting.
“It was an amazing opportunity for my students and was a lifetime experience,” she added.
