Sachem East beat Hills East, 20-13, on the road Friday evening to earn their first win of the season.
Running back Phillip Brum rushed 30 times for 270 yards and two touchdowns. Quarterback Danny Wolff was 10-for-14 and threw for 151 yards and 1 touchdown. Dylan Foisey had three grabs for 50 yards and one touchdown.
Brum’s two touchdowns in the fourth quarter were the difference makers for East.
On defense, Zachary Geer recorded nine tackles and one sack and Connor Farrell had nine tackles and an interception in the win.
Brum’s 270 yards in the win are the fourth most in a single-game in Sachem East history. The record is 290 yards set by Matt Ferber in 2005.
