The Sachem Central School District will host its 37th annual College Night at Sachem High School East on Monday, Oct. 1 from 7-9 p.m.
There will be close to 200 colleges participating in the event. While the event is open to everyone, the school district hopes sophomores, juniors and seniors take advantage of the information distributed as it is an important time in their educational careers.
“College Night offers our students the opportunity to meet representatives from a variety of colleges and universities,” said Paul Manzo, Sachem’s assistant superintendent for secondary curriculum and instruction. “It is our goal to ensure that our students are exposed and aware of different opportunities that will be available to them beyond high school. Our role is to prepare respectful and responsible young adults to be college or career ready by the time they leave Sachem schools.”
