Make that three days until opening kickoff for Sachem East and Sachem North for the 2013 season.
Three things you should know about this game and series:
- Wednesday’s game between East and North will be the first in the rivalry series to take place at Sachem East in Farmingville. The previous six match-ups have all taken place at Sachem North.
- Opening kick off is set for 6 p.m. While there is plenty of parking at and around Sachem East, you should plan on arriving early to secure your seat and not deal with the lines of cars getting to the school and looking for parking all at the same time.
- This is the second time the schools have opened the season playing against one another. Their first meeting ever in 2005 happened on Week 1 and saw East beat North, 40-13.
