Sachem alum and Sachem Board of Education trustee Alex Piccirillo was recognized for his public service by being designated as the Suffolk County Young Republicans (SCYR) Man of the Year.
Piccirillo, a SCYR Executive Board Member, has served as a legislative aide to New York State Senator Anthony Palumbo and as the varsity basketball coach at Ward Melville High School.
In a special moment, Alex received a medal during the awards dinner from his brother, Anthony Piccirillo, a Suffolk County Legislator.
