Louis Gregory has had a unique journey since graduating from Sachem in 1996. From being a career federal agent to working as a talent manager and music producer to being an entrepreneur and building one of the world’s top collectibles and challenge coin companies, he represents many disciplines and credits the teachers and experiences at Sachem for shaping his life.
For this, he will be one of the two Sachem Alumni Excellence Award honorees at the inaugural Sachem Education Foundation Gala, which will be held on Thursday, March 27, at 6 p.m. at Flowerfield in St. James.
Tickets and sponsorships are available now! All funds raised from the gala will support educational programming through foundation grants. Gregory rose through the ranks of U.S. Customs and Border Protection from Customs Inspector to Director of Communications of the largest agency in the U.S. government.
As a talent manager, his client and partner Rolodex include some of the biggest athletes and entertainers of the modern era, including New York Giants legend Michael Strahan, WWE legend Bill Goldberg, hip-hop legends the Fat Boys, Eric B. and Rakim, and Presidential Tenor Christopher Macchio.
In recent years, he also founded America’s Frontline, a collectibles company that prints and distributes the largest number of challenge coins in the world.
He is an inductee of the Sachem Hall of Honor and the Suffolk County Sports Hall of Fame. A book about his life was released on Amazon last year as the top new release in the law enforcement category.
The inaugural gala will also honor Macchio, former Sachem Superintendent James Nolan, and current Superintendent Patti Trombetta. The Sachem Education Foundation will soon announce at least one more honoree!
