Sachem alum Stefanie Karayoff recently traveled to Stockholm, Sweden, to attend the Nobel Dialogues and give a presentation on environmental rights at the Berghs School of Communication.
Karayoff, who graduated from Sachem North in 2023, was selected as a Future Nobel Laureate Scholar. She was selected as one of 10 scholars for an elite global program designed to foster world-changing leaders.
“It was an incredible experience to participate in such an important event and connect with others passionate about their topics as well as the new friendships I made,” she wrote on social media. “We were especially honored to have Patricia GodÃnez, the Ambassador of El Salvador to Sweden, attend our presentation, adding a unique perspective to the conversation and made the moment even more memorable.”
