Sachem alum Chris Panos was inducted into the Canadian Lacrosse Hall of Fame. Panos was honored for his remarkable career as a member of the Victoria Shamrocks, where he played from 1999 to 2002, contributing significantly to the team’s legacy.

During his time with the Shamrocks, Panos achieved numerous milestones, including winning the Western Lacrosse Association (WLA) League Title in 1999, 2000, and 2002. Notably, he and his team clinched the prestigious Mann Cup in 1999, and in 2001, he was part of the only team in WLA history to complete an undefeated season with a record of 19-0-1.

Reflecting on this honor, Panos shared, “As an American-born player, this was an incredible achievement to be part of this world-class organization with incredible teammates, great coaches, outstanding executives, and passionate fans.”

Panos’ accomplishments with the Victoria Shamrocks underscore his legacy as a distinguished figure in lacrosse and a dedicated mentor at Fork Union Military Academy, where he continues to inspire young athletes.
