Sachem alum Linda Detlefsen Nicosia is a trailblazer and legendary track and field athlete with an incredible story. The conversation centered around her journey, overcoming obstacles and using running as an outlet. She is an inductee of the Sachem Athletic Hall of Fame, University of Georgia Athletic Hall of Fame and Suffolk Sports Hall of Fame.
She is the latest guest on Sachem Conversations, an oral history project produced by the Sachem Alumni Association to digitally record and archive Sachem history from the people who made it and lived it.
