Stephen Turnbull has impressed in his NYCFC II season and signed a short term contract with the top MLS club. He is a depth player, but has yet to appear in a game during his first week.
Turnbull, who played at Sachem East and Stony Brook University, is third amongst defenders with five goals in 20 contests at the MLS NEXT level.
He would be the second Sachem alum to play for NYCFC after Joe Scally, who is currently playing in the Bundesliga.
