Frank Schmidt won 345 games and two state titles as the head soccer coach at Sachem, a position he held for more than 30 years. He inherited the program from Don Woolley, another legend, and later helped build the Sachem Youth Soccer League, which has had a lasting impact on the growth of soccer in this community and many others.
He is the latest guest on Sachem Conversations is an oral history project produced by the Sachem Alumni Association to digitally record and archive Sachem history from the people who made it and lived it.
