You may recall Foster’s pivotal role in Sachem East football’s Suffolk County semifinal game in 2012. He scored on fourth-and-10 from the 20-yard line with 9:19 left on a pass from a scrambling Danny Wolf. That tied the game at 21 and Sachem East eventually won.
As a freshman at Cortland he played football and lacrosse. Originally only intending to play football, which resulted in a Cortica Cup win, he eventually settled into a four-year lacrosse career and the rest all worked out.
