Grace shared Player of the Year honors as well as making All-Conference First-Team. Grace led all of Division III with 11 assists per set, recording 88 digs and 15 service aces.
He has 4,102 career assists and leads SUNY New Paltz all-time in that category, earning his third straight All-UVC honor. Grace had a season-high 65 assists against Stevens Institute of Technology and a season-high three aces against Nazareth College.
“Being Co-Player of the Year is definitely a great feeling,” the Hawks captain said. “Josh Bigford from St. John Fisher is a great player who had an impressive season so to be named co-player of the year with him means a lot.”
Nolan was awarded a UVC All-Conference Honorable Mention nod for his defensive display in his senior season. He totaled 144 digs with a .972 reception percentage and .58 assists per game.
“Robbie [Nolan] is the man who controls the back row, without him we could not have an offense at all, because in volleyball it all starts with a pass,” senior Nick O’Malley said about his libero.
