Former Sachem and UCLA star headed to the next level in Tel Aviv
It seems like yesterday Dylan Missry was helping Sachem North volleyball win its first state title in school history. After a successful run at UCLA, he just signed a pro contract with the Maccabbi Tel Aviv Volleyball Club.
Missry helped UCLA to an appearance in the NCAA championships during the 2017-18 season.
At Sachem he was All-American, All-State, All-Long Island, All-County, and All-League and Long Island Player of the Year.
On the international scene he played for the U21 U.S. men’s team at the world championships in Czech Republic, and played on the U.S. men’s junior national team that won gold at the 2016 Norceca championships.
