Marine Corps aviator gets recognized during special event by MLB team
Sachem alum and U.S. Marine Corp Pilot Evan Bloom was on-field at Petco Park as an honoree of the Padres for Naval Aviation Military Appreciation Day.
Nine Naval Aviators from the Marine Corps, Navy and Coast Guard took the field as the Padres starting nine. Evan was on the mound.
After Sachem, Evan attended Dartmouth where he played football and lacrosse, and joined the ROTC so he could become a pilot and serve the United States.
