Sachem has strong imprint on local college summer league
A number of Sachem connections are noticeable in this year’s Hamptons Collegiate Baseball League, one of the nation’s top summer ball leagues for college players looking to stay fresh when school’s out.
Dan Palermo and Chris Mott, who played at Sachem East, are both on the roster of the Road Warriors.
Scott June, who played at Sachem and co-owns All-Pro Sports Academy in Bellport, is the General Manager of the Road Warrior squad.
John Clark, a former Sachem varsity coach, is the manager of the Southampton Breakers, while his son Chris, who went to Sachem and was a pitching coach at Sachem North, holds the same position for the Breakers.
