Arrows capture 27-0 win to finish off incredible week of spirit and pride
There is nothing like a big victory on homecoming. Sachem East football beat Patchogue-Medford, 27-0, to cap off a spirited week of pride and fun on Saturday afternoon.
Led by the efforts of Student Government and Class Government, Sachem East had a number of themes during spirit week from TV Tuesday to Sachem spirit day.
Sachem East invited their peers from Sachem North for a school showdown one evening where they competed in various spirited contests from pie eating to tug-of-war. Later in the week the school celebrated with a pep rally and crowned homecoming royalty.
The weekend began with a newly minted homecoming carnival and, of course, ended with a win on the gridiron.
