Crossan will now be placed on a national ballot from which the Academic All-America Team will be selected in December.
From Lafayette Sports Information:
- Crossan has played in 10 games and has started the last seven for the Leopards at safety. He is currently sixth on the team in tackles (44).
- His top game this season came against Bucknell when he made a career-high 10 tackles and picked off a pass.
- That followed a nine-tackle game at Harvard. He has registered four games with seven or more tackles this season.
- He maintains 3.80 grade-point average while majoring in Economics.
Crossan was the quarterback of Sachem’s 2013 Long Island championship team. He scored the game-winning touchdown to beat Farmingdale that season. He also is one of only four players in Long Island history to score eight or more touchdowns in a single game.
