Former Sachem North captain continues leadership role at Division I level.
Sachem North alum Mike Aronow has been named as a team captain for Penn State men’s lacrosse, according to head coach Jeff Tambroni.
Aronow, one of four captains, missed his 2017 season due to injury but was a vocal leader. He previously was an All-Big Ten honorable mention.
“Our staff is thrilled about the quality of character within our 2018 captains,” Tambroni said in a release. “We are confident that this group will lead our program throughout the 2018 season and that they will continue to advance our mission of leaving the Penn State legacy better than we found it.”
While at Sachem, he was a four-year letter winner in lacrosse, was a two-time team defensive MVP and an All-American as a senior.
