Sachem East alum Katie Trombetta had another successful season at Michigan. She was named NFHCA Division I All-West Region First Team.
As per the the Michigan Athletic Communication Office:
Trombetta, a 2016 All-Big Ten first team and All-Tournament Team selection, earned All-West Region honors for the second time in her career, adding to last season’s second-team nod. She posted three goals and three assists on the season as a key member of U-M’s offensive — and defensive — corner unit. The Wolverines’ field general, who split time between center back and center mid, she also anchored a defensive unit that posted a 1.36 goals-against average and just 9.1 shots allowed per game.
