Sachem North has locked up the No. 8 seed in the Section XI Division I football playoffs. The Flaming Arrows will play top-ranked Lindenhurst in the first round next week.
Game time and date is still not determined as of Saturday evening.
Sachem finished the regular season 5-3, while Lindenhurst is a division-best 8-0.
Sachem last made the playoffs in 2014 as an eight-seed and nearly beat top-seeded Longwood, but fell just short.
