The Sachem North boy’s lacrosse program is piling up the college commitments again this year. Here is a look at some recent signings:
Mike Inzone: Goalie, Senior, Limestone
- Sachem coach Paul Benway on Inzone: “Had a great summer, finally embracing his role as a starting goalie. Significantly improved his game this summer and we are extremely excited to see what he can do. He is good leader on the field and should help anchor our senior heavy defense.”
Joe Pedisich: Attack, Senior, Arcadia
- Sachem coach Paul Benway on Pedisich: “Big lefty who has been on the Varsity since he was a sophomore. Brings good leadership and should be a key contributor this season. Has a good shot and is a solid finisher.”
John Mandola: Defense, Senior, Adelphi
- Sachem coach Paul Benway on Mandola: “Tough player who saw minutes last year as a junior. Solid overall game and will be a key defenseman for us.”
Ryan McAllister: Defense, Senior, LIU Post
- Sachem coach Paul Benway on McAllister: “Tough cover defenseman who will probably see the best attackman each game. Good speed and footwork.”
Dominick Massaro: Attack, Senior, Lycoming
- Sachem coach Paul Benway on Massaro: “Big lefty who works extremely hard. Great attitude, and leader on and off the field.”
