During the month of October, Waverly recognizes Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Once again Waverly Avenue will be doing its part to help fight this horrible disease. Attached you will find two fundraising flyers.
One flyer will have the order form for new Waverly Avenue Supports Breast Cancer Awareness T-shirts. If you have purchased one in the past please do not feel obligated to buy one. This order form must be returned to your child’s teacher no later than Friday, September 30. Students will be wearing this every Tuesday in the month of October and on our Breast Cancer Awareness Walk on Tuesday, October 25. Time will determined shortly.
The second flyer will have an order for pink hair extensions and pink bracelets. These extensions are a bead form and are able to be taken out at any point. All proceeds will be donated to the Carol M. Baldwin Breast Cancer Research Fund. Pink hair extension day will be on Wednesday, October 5 from 9:30-12:30pm. These extensions cannot be sent home since you need a special tool to put them in. We will be having a hair salon come to Waverly that day to put in the hair extensions.
