Merrimac students participated in the Practice-a thon and raised $823.50 for Long Island Cares.
Their total minutes practiced was 2,562. The students involved were Dean Craner, Haoxuan Chen, Grant Cherveny, Jared Mitchell, Matthew Ostroski, Michael Mattera (not pictured), Danielle Chiarello, Bobby Pizzingrillo, Amanda Madigan, Sophia Berkowitz (not pictured), and Raj Majmundar.
The students united for a common cause and made a difference for hungry families on Long Island. Bobby Pizzingrillo, a fourth grader at Merrimac, helped organize the event for Merrimac to participate.
