Sachem East varsity cheerleading is off to an unbelievable start to the season so far.
During this past weekend’s competition at Walt Whitman High School, Sachem East placed first with a score of 113.45. This marks the fourth straight competition with a first place finish.
The 113.45 points is the highest points total any team on Long Island has recorded so far this season, according to the Sachem East coaching staff.
The competition at Walt Whitman counts towards the team’s county championship, which ultimately leads to states which will take place in March in Syracuse.
Sachem East will also compete at Nationals, as usual. Their next competition is on January 23 at Bethpage High School.
