Sachem North alum Dalton Crossan was selected all-conference as a running back and kick off return specialist after a stellar season at New Hampshire.
Crossan, a redshirt junior, was one of the strongest offensive and special team threats in the Colonial Athletic Association this season.
Most impressive for his individual statistics was ranking No. 5 in the country in scoring per game with a 9.6 point average, No. 7 in all-purpose yards per game (159.6) and No. 9 in rushing touchdowns (13), as well as 23rd in kickoff return average (25.6).
Overall he compiled 160 carries, 844 rushing yards, 18 kick returns, 460 kick return yards, 40 receptions, 296 receiving yards, and 1,596 all-purpose yards. He scored 13 of New Hampshire’s 18 rushing touchdowns and also caught another three scores.
Crossan won then Hansen Award as Suffolk County’s top football player as a senior at Sachem.
