Johnson Controls, Inc. (JCI) provided a comprehensive report of Sachem’s energy savings and utility rate history during the last school board meeting.
This report was processed using industry standard calculations based on proven and accepted engineering formulas for energy conservation and analysis.
The performance contract between Sachem and JCI guarantees that Sachem School District will save $20,900,834 during the 18 year term of the contract. The Year 2 period of this contract ran from August 2014 through July 2015.
The chart below shows the year 2 guaranteed savings of measured, non-measured and Operation & maintenance savings and actual savings achieved during year 2 which exceeds the guaranteed savings.
