Brittany Christiansen wrapped up a successful junior campaign for indoor track and field at Slippery Rock University this month.
Christiansen, a Sachem East alum, earned her second All-Region honor and first in the weight throw.
She shattered the Slippery Rock record in the weight throw with a toss of 17.10 meters at the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference championships at Edinboro University.
SRU placed second overall behind Shippensburg for the team championship.
