Seven students in Sachem North’s DECA business club qualified for the state championships after a successful competition at the regional finals earlier this month.
More than 20 students competed at regionals held at Suffolk County Community College. The seven qualifying students will compete at states in Rochester in March.
The following students qualified for states:

- Matthew Hoffner – Business Finance
- John Campagna – Accounting Applications
- Brian Richer & Jonathan Rizzi – Team – Sports & Entertainment Marketing
