Tamarac students in Mrs. Allocca’s class knitted a blanket for an “adopt-a-family” project.
Students worked diligently to knit and gave up their recess to complete the project.
Volunteer parents and grandparents helped sew the blanket together.
The class also “adopted” a family with young children to fulfill their Christmas lists. The family will receive toys and clothing, plus this amazing new blanket.
