Through its annual Thanksgiving Food Drive, the Sachem Central School District has donated more than 1,750 boxes of food for families in and around the Sachem community this week.
Official holiday box send offs were held at both Sachem East and Sachem North earlier this year.
Sachem North, with the help of its now legendary “Dirty Dozen” group of dedicated students, raised enough money and food for a record 1,478 boxes of food. Sachem East put together 275 boxes.
