Make that four. Sachem East field hockey won its fourth consecutive Suffolk County championship Tuesday afternoon with a 1-0 victory over rival Ward Melville.
The Arrows (18-0) are 81-2 during their dynasty stretch and will play in the Long Island championship against Massapequa on Sunday at Adelphi University.
Sachem senior and Hofstra-bound Katie Shanahan scored the only goal of the game in the first half to put the Arrows head.
The Arrows have only allowed four goals this season in 18 games and have recorded 15 shutouts.
Massapequa has now won six straight Nassau Class A titles and has played Sachem each of the last four seasons in the Long Island title game.
