The Sachem East boys cross country team traveled to the Suffern Invitational at Bear Mountain State Park this past Saturday. The trip was a rousing success as both the junior varsity and varsity teams won their races.
Brandon Guerrera, Vinny Cavalino, Dan Dobbins, Rocco Corbisiero and Ian Carroll led the JV team to victory.
On the varsity level, Edmund Carroll led a tightly packed group of teammates that included Matt Patsy, Nick Pandolfo, Gillan Faulkner, Max Osterberg and Nick Caruana to a close victory over a talented Pearl River team.
The team next takes on the Northport Tigers this Tuesday at home at 4:00 p.m.
