Sachem East senior runner Trevor Guerrera has had one heck of a season.
Wednesday night at the Suffolk County Track and Field Awards dinner he was selected as an “Outstanding Performer” for the 2014 spring season.
He was also the recipient of the Suffolk County Officials Association Scholarship for excellence in the classroom and performance on the track.
He is also currently ranked No. 2 in NY State and No. 7 in the United States in the 400 meter Intermediate Hurdles.
Guerrera will run at states in the coming days and he will compete at Sacred Heart University next school year.
