The Sachem North Varsity Arrowettes won their third straight consecutive NDA National Championship last weekend.
The team is now three-time defending champs in the Small Varsity Jazz category. They won this year with a score of 9.518.
Sachem North competed in a category with 35 teams from across the country. They received an Innovative Choreography and a Technical Excellence Award for their Jazz routine and were also the Best in Category for Jazz for NDA Nationals 2014.
Sachem North also got second place in Pom, second place in International Pom, second place in Team Performance and fourth place in Hip Hop.
Sachem North was second runners up for Grand Champions of the entire competition.
“The girls danced amazing for three days of competition and truly showed heart and integrity,” said Sachem coach Katie Prusinski, who also mentioned that coach David Maczkiewicz could not be more proud.
It was a very special way for their five seniors to end an incredible four-year run: Captain Kailey Albano, Captain Kimberly Desz, Allie Serra, Kaylyn Kirschenheiter and Megan DiBenedetto.
Sachem East places in four events
The Sachem East Varsity Arrowettes also placed in a number events at nationals.

- 2nd Place in Kick with an Unleashed Judges Choice Award
