Sachem North senior lineman Bryan Gresalfi will play football on the next level. He has committed to play at Stonehill College in Easton, Mass.
Gresalfi chose Stonehill over Wagner, Sacred Heart, LIU Post and Cortland. He said he fell in love with the campus immediately upon his visit and felt very welcomed by the coaching staff. Stonehill also has criminology as a major.
“I felt like that school would give me the best opportunity to succeed,” he said.
For Gresalfi, his most memorable moment at Sachem was winning the Class I Long Island championship last fall.
“I looked up at the scoreboard at the end of the Long Island championship and realized that we finally did it,” he said, smiling as he described the moment during a Signing Day Ceremony at Sachem North earlier this year.
He was also quick to point out the support his coaching staff provided during his football career at all levels in the Sachem Central School District.
“They were my biggest supporters,” he said.
A two-time All-Division selection, Gresalfi was a Coaches Award winner during his senior season.
Stonehill was 8-3 last season competing in the Northeast 10 Conference. Sachem East alum Lucas Brum is also a lineman at the college.
