Nick Caruana, a sophomore at Sachem East, bowled a 300 and 299 in consecutive games to lead the Arrows to a Suffolk County boys bowling championship Saturday at Sayville Lanes.
Sachem East totaled 6,707 points compared to Middle Country, who finished with 6,600.
Following Game 2, Sachem East was in third place overall.
Eric Rostern was also on his game as usual today. He nailed a 298 in Game 4 en route to a tourney-high 1,219.
Bobby Ramsey averaged a 232.85, fifth best in the tourney, for Sachem East as well.
This is the third team title so far this school year for teams at Sachem East, including field hockey and boys volleyball.
