The staff at Seneca Middle School generously donated money and puzzle books to the Long Island State Veterans Home at Stony Brook University this week.
Brian Harvey and Katherine Prusinski dropped off the puzzle books and check. They received a tour of the facility and had the honor of meeting some of the residents.
They also gave the facility a donation from some of the Support the Troops t-shirt fundraiser. Some of the other proceeds went to the Team Jesse Foundation and a Veterans facility in Yaphank.
The Support the Troops fundraiser has been an ongoing effort headed by Harvey at Seneca that has taken off in various schools around the district.
