Alums compete in New York City Marathon

It wouldn’t be a major event without Sachem alums involved, so surely there were at least three well known members of the Sachem family competing in this year’s New York City Marathon.

Competing were Sam Ryan, a reporter for MLB Network, Laura Gentile, a Vice President at ESPN, and Terry Mangan, former head men’s lacrosse coach at Lafayette.

“Shout out to Staten Island, Brooklyn, Queens, Bronx, Manhattan. NYC, you rock!,” wrote Ryan on Twitter. “Thanks for the amazing support! Loved it!”

Mangan finished in 4:37, Gentile finished in 4:39, and Ryan had a time of 5:32.
