If you hear excessively loud noises coming from the back gym at Sachem North on Monday afternoon don’t be alarmed. It’s just playoff volleyball.
Top-seeded and undefeated Sachem North will host No. 4 Sachem East in the Suffolk County Class A semifinals on Monday at 5 p.m.
This should make for one of the more interesting Sachem vs. Sachem battles in history as both teams pack a heavy punch, are well coached and will be fueled by the in-district rivalry factor.
Sachem North had a first round bye, while Sachem East beat No. 5 Half Hollow Hills in its first round action.
