Sachem North lost for the second straight week after suffering a 42-14 loss at William Floyd on Saturday afternoon.
The Colonials scored 21 points in the third quarter and were led by a strong ground attack by the likes of Chris Faison (16 carries, 150 yards, 1 TD) and Eric Brust (10 carries, 101 yards, 2 TDs).
Sachem’s first touchdown came in the second quarter when Trent Crossan hit Kevin Bragaglia with a 30-yard touchdown pass. Steve Anacreone scored the other touchdown for Sachem in the fourth quarter on a 5-yard carry. Bryan Morris hit both extra points.
Sachem senior quarterback Trent Crossan was 6-for-15 passing and threw for 78 yards.
Floyd (4-2) had lost two previous games this season, but on Saturday looked much more dominant than its prior performances.
The Flaming Arrows drop to 4-2 this year with two games left in the regular season. Sachem will travel to Lindenhurst for Week 7 action next Friday.
