Sachem North alum Victoria Isernia is currently performing with the New York Philharmonic on the stage of Avery Fisher Hall at New York City’s Lincoln Center. She is a Classical Voice Major and member of the Manhattan School of Music Symphonic Choir.

The Choir, under the direction of Maestro Alan Gilbert, is accompanying the Philharmonic to complete the 4th movement of Beethoven’s 9th Symphony performing what most recognize as the “Ode to Joy.”

While at Sachem North, the 2013 graduate was a member of the Drama Club and showcased her vocal talents through a myriad of roles and diverse characterizations. Among them included her rendition of Rona Lisa Peretti in “The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee,” which garnered a STARS Award from the Town of Brookhaven.
She’s probably best known for her performance as Belle in Disney’s Beauty & the Beast that sold out the North Auditorium for three nights in 2011.

The concert series wraps up on October 12 in New York City.
