Samoset Student Zachary Rodriquez participated in a St. Baldrick’s for Children Cancer fundraiser last weekend.
Rodriguez not only raised $300 on his own but he also shaved his head for this cause.
“What a wonderful show of community service and unthinkable act of kindness that a 8th grader can display,” said Samoset PTSA President Dorothy Stallone. “The Sachem community is always so proud of all the students that thrive themselves in community service. The Samoset PTSA is very proud of him.”
