Sachem East with be hosting its third annual Run to Remember 5k on their home cross-country course on Sept. 15.
To commemorate the 12th anniversary of Sept. 11 and to fund and maintain a permanent memorial in honor of those lost in the Sachem community, the school has been hosting this event for the last three years.
There is a regular 5K, but also if you don’t mind crawling through mud, carrying tires, and scaling cargo nets than the all NEW two-mile “MUD and Guts” Obstacle Run is for you.
