Sachem North’s Melissa Michels was named Second Team All-Long Island for track and field this spring.
Michels had an outstanding spring season highlighted by her All-Federation (200, 4×100), All-State (100, 200, 4×100), All County (100, 200, 4×100) performances.
She also broke three school records on the track (100, 200, 4×100) and added a fourth school record with her single season dual meet point total of 80 points scored in the toughest league (Section XI’s League 2) in NYS.
